			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>HPM-Americas is pleased to announce a meeting on Saturday and Sunday, October 23-24, 2010, on the campus of CalTech in Pasadena, California. A special feature of this meeting will be a visit to the Huntington Library on Saturday afternoon.</p>

<p>HPM seeks a variety of talks on the history of mathematics, the teaching of mathematics, and the history of teaching mathematics. Talks directly relevant to mathematics classrooms are especially welcome. Talks will be 30-40 minutes long.</p>
<p>The registration fee will be $40 until September 15 and $45 thereafter. For one day attendees, the fee is $30 until September 15 and $35 thereafter. The fee includes lunches on both Saturday and Sunday.  Registration checks should be made out to Amy Ackerberg-Hastings, Treasurer, HPM and mailed to:</p>
